perinatal loss training
The courses provided by The Perinatal Loss Centre have been extensively researched and compiled in consultation with specialists in the fields of Obstetrics, Genetics, Midwifery, Psychology and Psychiatry. The centre's training programs are in line with National and International best practice guidelines in bereavement care.
Preliminary research into recipients' preferred mode of delivery, revealed that online training was the most popular option for participation.
Online education is cost effective and offers the following benefits:
- the flexibility to complete the training in your own time
- the capacity to pace yourself to learn and retain course content over several weeks
- the ability to go back to previously presented content to consolidate learning
- access to downloadable resources (including client/patient handouts)
Content is practical and evidence-based, rich with clinical examples, video, and short quizzes to embed your learning.
Upon successful completion and evaluation of the course, you will receive an immediate digital certificate.
